We are subjected to the most rigorous client money regulations in the world, to protect our client’s money. We hold funds in segregated bank accounts with Barclays.

Funds kept in segregated are completely separate from Ec Markets, they are solely used for trading needs.

In the unlikely event such as Ec Markets is unable to satisfy repayment claims, Ec Markets’ clients who are eligible claimants will have the right to access the compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), up to £85,000.

Client Money Protection

Protecting client funds is an important part of EC Markets financial security commitment. We strictly adheres to the FCA’s Client Money Rules and segregates all client funds from its own funds in accordance with the FCA rules.

Ec Markets maintains client funds in a segregated client bank account at Barclays Bank, A Tier 1 bank. We review trust letters with all banks that hold client’s money in accordance with the rules.
